Welcome to my favorite room in the house, the kitchen! My family and I like to cook here. During the school week, my mom likes to cook dinner as my dad comes home late from work. Dinner always includes a starch (rice or pasta), a protein (meat) and some vegetables. My favorite dish is anything cooked with potatoes. I like to make mashed potatoes on the stove. In the fridge we store items that need to be kept cold. On the weekends, my dad likes to cook special meals for my big family. He makes a delicious meal with fish and lots of spices. My younger brother William doesn’t like this dish as he is a picky eater.
