How much or How many?

We use « How much » + a singular or uncountable noun like : water, money, furniture, food, petrol, wine…

Example: How much flour do you need? 

We use « How many » + a plural or countable noun like : apples, children, books, planes, people, dogs, pens, cars…

Example : How many apples do you have ?

On utilise « How much » + nom singulier ou indénombrable que l’on ne peut pas compter comme : water, money, furniture, food, petrol, wine…
